South Australia’s Low Carbon Entrepreneur Prize Ceremony

Congratulations to the winners of South Australia’s Low Carbon Entrepreneur Prize, the first initiative of the Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge.
From 150 entries worldwide, 11 finalists came together in Adelaide to pitch their ideas, solutions and technologies to reduce Adelaide’s carbon emissions and become the world’s first carbon neutral city.
The finalists competed for $150,000 in front of a live audience as part of the Open State ‘Pitch Fest’.
Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge DEMO Day

The community was invited along to the Adelaide to Zero Carbon Challenge Demo Day between 11am–2pm at the Open State Hub on North Terrace, to meet with the Prize finalists and learn more about their projects, including zero carbon city apartments, commuter electric vehicles, carbon-neutral trigeneration, carpooling app for schools, solar thermoelectric technology for buildings, and third generation biodiesel from waste.
