How this will impact Adelaide's carbon emissions

Q Solar ( has tens of different models of solar heaters, each more suitable for a different application, which can deliver environmental and financial benefits at the same time. They apply to hundreds of different users and this way can replace fuel heat with smaller price clean solar heat to a significant proportion of Adelaide’s large and small buildings and also to industrial applications like food processing, construction materials, industrial driers, etc.

For some applications (like some public use buildings), these heaters can reduce by about 80% the heating emissions, for homes by about 40% and for other applications like industrial heaters or burners, they will reduce emissions by about 20%. We estimate that in average, for most Adelaide heating applications, these solar heaters could reduce the greenhouse gas emissions by about 50%.

Additionally, these reductions will come with important financial savings, because Q Solar is the single company which can warrant that the price of solar heat can be half of any fuel heat price without needing any additional financing.

The way to make a major impact and significantly reduce the emissions is to teach South Australian companies how to manufacture and install the Q Solar heaters in their area.

Cheap, affordable solar air heaters retrofitted to house would go along way to reducing winter power bills and reducing green house gases. Most units currently available are unattractive. This design looks nicer and could be a winner.
